What are the advantages offered by Malaga On Board?

How can I make my booking request?

Pick a place and activity:

• Click on “book”.
• Choose date
• Choose the time ( in case this option is available)
• Choose participants number
• Follow the next steps

Can I book an activity without a specific date?

Yes, choose as date the purchasing day. The company will contact you and you can either choose a suitable date then or decide later. You have one year to do it. Also, you can order a virtual gift card if you wish to give it as a present.

Do I need to do my booking request in advance?

No. The sooner you make your booking request, the more likely you will select the time and date you want.
If the availability of the service provider changes, we will contact you to suggest another date as close as possible of the original. Keep in mind that many activities are seasonal.

May I participate in any activity that requires a minimum number of participants, even if I make a book on my own?

The activity company will attempt to form a group for each activity and the dates you have chosen. In case this cannot be done, the activity will be cancelled and you would be offered alternative dates.

Are children allowed to participate in the activities?

Depending on the activity, it may or may not be possible for young children to participate in the activities. Please refer to each activity to find out if it is suitable for children and their minimum permitted age.

I have a medical condition or I am pregnant, can I take part in the activities?

There are certain limitations depending on the type of activity. Please consult with the company or Malaga On Board customer service for more details.

Do I need to provide my bank account details to submit my booking request?

Yes, it is necessary to provide them

How do I know if my booking is already confirmed?

After making the booking, you will receive an email confirming your request.

We will contact you within 48 hours to either confirm or reschedule the activity.

If you have not yet received the confirmation email, please review your spam folder.

If your booking request is not yet confirmed, please contact us (reservas@malagaonboard.com).
Please be aware there is a specific cancellation policy for each activity, flexible, moderate or strict.

How can I make the payment for my booking?

Malaga On Board gives you 3 options to pay for your booking:

• Credit/debit card.
• PayPal (+3,5% commission).
• Direct bank transfer (the most secure method).

*Payment is not possible on-site, to complete your booking you must pay through one of the payment methods listed above.

If I cannot participate on the chosen date due to adverse weather conditions, then what happens?

In case of adverse weather conditions or other events beyond our control, the instructors/guides may also suggest rescheduling your activity. It depends on whether you accept or decline the changes ( for instance, it may be uncomfortable to postpone your activity for a week, if you are a tourist from abroad). If you are unfortunately unable to attend the proposed new date, you will be refunded in full.

Is the payment through Malaga On Board secure?

Yes, Malaga On Board’s payment options are totally secure. We have:

• Malaga On Board Protection Guarantee.
• All information submitted and sent from our website is protected by SSL certificate which encrypts the communications between Malaga On Board, the payment platform and the user.

I need an actual invoice for my booking, to whom should I ask for it?

Malaga On Board is a guide to adventure activities and not the service provider, so the invoice should be requested to the company who is providing the service once you have completed the activity.

I made a booking request, when will I get a reply?

After booking, you will receive an e-mail regarding the booking request, within 48 hours to confirm the booking.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Please contact us whether your booking request has been confirmed or not.

Do the activities include accident insurance?

All companies provide civil liability insurance.

What types of gift cards does Malaga On Board offer and how do they work?

We offer gift cards at different prices, all of them are redeemable per activity:

25€/ 50€ / 100€ / 200€ / 500€.

*On our website you can add it to your cart and pay for it easily. In less than 2 minutes you will have your gift card.

For how long is valid a gift card?

Malaga On Board’s gift cards are valid for 1 year. So they can be redeemed at any time of the year.
